Jeremy Schnurr graduated from The Law School at Cornell University in 1981 and was admitted to the NYS Bar in 1982. While he is most experienced at matters before the Workers’ Compensation Board, he has had, over the years, extensive experience in: Criminal Law, Matrimonial and Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Personal Injury Law and Appellate Law. Along the way, he has worked with, and for, some of the most renowned attorneys in Upstate and Western New York.
He has represented injured workers, and their families, at the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board starting in 1982. He is recognized by the local legal community as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable attorneys to practice at the Workers’ Compensation Board. Over the years, in addition to representing injured workers, Mr. Schnurr has represented the interests of the Special Funds Conservation Committee, various Insurance Companies and Self Insured Employers and Municipalities, as well as uninsured employers. He served as a NYS Workers’ Compensation Law Judge/Referee in the Rochester District from 1996 to 1997. He currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the University at Buffalo Law School teaching the intricacies of the Workers’ Compensation Law to second and third year law students.
